Hope you are all doing great.
We have had 2 contest entries so far. Scroll down to see the entries.
Also we still need help with submissions. If there's any of you who would like to help out, that would be wonderful. Interested deviants please note me @ *damaskangel

The *Care-Club s Angel, the lovely `DAnnsCreations has made our contest more exciting by offering a 3 months subscription to the 1st place winner. So c'mon and send in those entries.
And also members who have subscriptions can offer to do journal features for the 3 winners, this will be a good way of exposing the winners work to new deviants. If you would like to help out by doing so please leave a comment or note us.

Please keep on making submissions to the gallery. Make sure you have our icon in your front page before you do.

Our theme for this months contest is Passion. We are looking forward to making this contest a huge success. So we look forward to a lot of entries & prize donations. Just send us a note titled ' Prize Donation' to *Care-Club with the details on what you want to offer.
Here are the rules and prizes.

RULES

It has to be a completely new deviation, made SPECIFICALLY for the contest and submitted after the 20th of August 2009.

The entry should not be entered into any other contests being conducted on DA until our contest is over. Contest entries cannot be submitted to the Club Gallery.

Mature content, to some extent, is acceptable but no full frontal nudity, blood or gore.

We reserve the right to refuse any entry which we feel does not portray the theme, which is ' P A S S I O N'.

Please put your entry in the correct category. We do not accept entries categorised in Scraps/ID's. We only accept FULLY finished works.

All mediums of art is accepted. If you have used stock photos, please make sure you credit them.

Only 2 (TWO) entries per person.

Only members of the club can take part. You can join the club to take part in this contest.

The club icon has to be in your journal, we do not accept Collection Submissions or Contest Entries sent by members who do not have our icon in their journals. To add the icon just type :icon Care-Club: without the space.

The following sentence should be in the description of the contest entry.
“This is my entry for the *Care-Club ‘s Passion Contest” plus our icon.

Send your entry via NOTE with the subject ' Passion Contest'

Deadline is the 15th of October 2009.

The Admin reserves the right to decide whether the deviation meets the specifications.And the right to decline an entry which they feel does not meet these specifications. Just make sure you follow all these rules and there will be no problems.

A wonderful hello to all our lovely members!
This is just to say that we back for good. And club activity will resume as normal.
You can send in gallery submissions. The ones that were sent while we were inactive will be updated as well. Some of it has already been updated.
And though this is not an official announcement of this months contest theme, I just wanted to share it with you guys here.
The theme for this month is

Passion

There will be another journal with the contest rules and prizes. Please feel free to donate prizes to our new contest.

Club News

We are very sorry for the very long break the club has been on for 6 months or so. Real life happens and there has been another death in the family. So both me and =Lazulyte have been unable to keep the club updated. But don't worry. We have finally found 2 members who are willing to help us out. We shall announce who the 2 members are once the details are sorted out. Hopefully it will be done very soon.

Club News

After a long break we are back for real this time. Hope all our lovely members are doing well and having a wonderful time.

The Valetine's Day Mini Contest - Hugs & Kisses Contest is over and since this is a mini contest we are giving you, our members
the chance to vote this time around. To vote all you have to do is follow this link [link]

Year Review

It’s the beginning of the new year and although we go forward, it’s always wonderful to see how far we have come by reflecting on the past.
So, let’s have a look at the past year.

At the beginning of the year, Druidwu, our sole everything for a while at Care Club was having a hard time keeping up with the club activities as his
life was taking up a lot of his time. In lieu of this, I stepped in and took over the club activities as I found myself with a whole lot of time once
again after a long time being away from the club.

The club was active and we were still getting a wonderful turnout for our contests and this is what I focused on and I realized we needed someone to
take over the contests and contests alone so he will not have any other responsibilities to worry about. Azmyst stepped in on the 9th of January as
Contests Admin and announced the New Beginings Contest.

Although he was the Contests Admin, Azymst decided to update the member list with the watchlist and he did this so that there will be only active
members in the club. Over time, members leave DA and others delete their accounts we accumulate a lot of dead accounts on the club watch and cleaning
out is a good way to keep it alive.

Since Care Club is all about community spirit, we encouraged our members to join in to give prize donations for our contests. Dannscreations, one of
our regular and most generous contributor to club contests, gave her first prizes for the January Contest.

On 23rd January, the Care Club reach 26,000 page views which was caught by DMKAAS and Damaskangel.

January 2008 saw the most number of new additions to the club since the club was formed back in April of 2006.

In March, our Gallery Admin, Elainelight left the staff position after many months. Damaskangel joined the staff as our new Gallery Admin although the
work she does is not only limited to the Gallery Submissions.

Thanks to *DAnnsCreations and =kasumiakiko the club got subscribed for the first time in a long time by someone other than the club staff.

On 27th March, Azmyst layeth the smack down on the members and cleaned out all inactive members again. This is a major cleanout and he worked really hard
to make sure he didn’t miss out on any active members and gave enough time for everyone active to respond before deleting them off. Along with the clean
out, some major changes were made to the club rules as well.

Care Club celebrated it’s 2nd birthday on 4th April. The club had Care around the world and a Cake and Card Design event which was not really a contest
but more of a feature for everyone who took part. Unfortunately, not a lot of deviants took part in this event last year but hopefully this year, we will
have a better turnout.

Although the club had the DAMN Chat room for a long time, it was never that active so in June, to make the place a more active place where it is possible
for members to go and share their work, we started doing the Chat Features. This was basically a feature for everyone who turned up at the time we
announced it and gave us a thumb. We welcomed our first Chat Operator, angelitonegro during this time as well.

Like most clubs, we had a lot of problems with deviants faving member work in the club gallery. After much deliberation we decided to change the whole
gallery submission system and not submit the artwork to the club gallery but instead to fav it and link to it in the club gallery with thumbs. On 1st July,
we made the change and we are still waiting for the new DA system which would be more club friendly.

The club was mostly on hiatus during November but things were kept in check somehow by Damaskangel who worked very hard.
All in all, it’s been a wonderful year for the club and we hope to only get better in the future and let our community grow. We would love to hear your
views on the club and suggestions on how to improve or make things more interesting here. We always welcome new ideas. Do share your thoughts with us.

Most of November the club was on hiatus as the founder =Lazulyte & Admin *damaskangel were patiently waiting for the arrival of =Lazulyte's lil bundle of joy.
