ABOUT CARE CLUB


Care Club was created as a haven for deviants of all levels and mediums to come together to share their art in a loving and caring atmosphere. We are a community and we encourage members who share a community spirit and take part in club activities to join us. We feel the name of the club is pretty much self explanatory.

BE ACTIVE!

We only want active members in the club who not only send submissions to the club gallery, but actively take part in all other aspects of the club. The club updates happen in the journal and we expect all our members to watch and acknowledge that they are reading our updates. So a reply when an important update happens will be reassuring to us admins who work hard around here. This is why we call it care club.

When a contest ends, we expect all winners to come out to acknowledge their win and congratulate the other winners as well and show community spirit. We don’t want snubby members who don’t even say a thank you once they have won a place in a contest or a feature even. This is very important to us. If this does happen, we shall disallow those members from taking part in future contests.

To make sure we are not taking on a lot of inactive members, the club will have a ‘cleaning out’ of members from time to time. All these updates will happen in the journals and polls so keep an eye on it.

As we have recently updated how we submit Gallery Submissions to the club, we expect all our members to fav the News Articles with the Monthly Features. This will happen only once a month so make sure to do this for the benefit of all members.

Once an admin attends to your note and watches you back, you are in the club!

You need to have the Care-Club icon in your front page journal.

To add the icon just type :icon Care-Club: without the space. If you do not have the icon, we cannot accept your submissions or contest entries.


SUBMISSION GUIDELINES


After experimenting a bit, we have finally decided to update gallery submissions in three ways.
1. Thumbs display in the Club Gallery with link to the deviations themselves every week.
2. Journal Feature every week.
3. News Feature on the last day of each month, with all the submissions made in that month. (Which we are making compulsory for all our members to fav.)

We accept all mediums of artwork as long as they fit the DA guidelines and are FINISHED works of art. We do not accept Deviant ID's, Stocks, or deviations submitted in the Scraps Category.

You can submit THREE ( 3 ) deviations per week to the Club Collections. We count week from Friday to Friday. However, only one submission per day.

Submissions to our gallery should be sent in a note marked "Gallery Submission".

It should contain the following details:
A working Link/Thumb to the deviation.

Gallery Submissions sent without these details will be ignored.
