"well, although i appear happy, I'm as lonely as the girl in this picture. yes, i drew myself, my inner side, perhaps.. however, lonely is not a bad thing after all.. it's a symbol of nobility. But this year, i think it's my new beginning, my new start of new life!! Cheers for Life!! 'I took this while out in my mothers woods. Here was an old tree that was cut down because the inside was devastated by rot and bugs, and after all of that, it decides to sprout one lone shoot, brilliant red, as if to say "I am still here, and I really want to begin anew". I just thought that was one of natures miracles, and a new beginning from a tree that was thought dead, and had lived over 100 years.'
